Do you feel sorry for the people who lost their homes to foreclosure and their cars to repossession & credit?

I don’t, many of these losers were living beyond their means. Many of them white people who lived in the suburbs becuz they didn’t want to live in the city with the black people. If you really can’t afford to live in a big house in the suburbs why not settle with something that is in within your budget. I don’t feel sorry for these losers at all. Many of them were being overpayed working at factories on the assembly line. Now that they lost their jobs there lifestyle also got throwing away.
I’m sorry but if you are doing unskilled work there is NO REASON they should pay you $70,000 a year that is too much. People who go to school and get a college degree don’t even make that much, why should they pay that amount to someone who is working at an assembly line? Just becuz it was one of the BIG. Now these losers have hit rock bottom and they don’t even have a home to go to. That’s there fault becuz they should have saved for a rainy day, not spent all their money on lavish vacations, college tuition for kids, several cars when they really couldn’t afford to.
These people are really their own worst enemy. They want to live like doctors and lawyers yet they are losers with expensive taste. Doctors and lawyers go to school for a very long time. They deserve to have a big income and with that comes a extravagant lifestyle. But if your a unskilled person doing wage slave work YOU SHOULD live in an impoverished area of the city. All these people were living off of their credit cards and now reality has caught up with them. Now the creditors are after them seizing their cars and bank accounts. Like they say “YOU MADE YOUR BED NOW SLEEP IN IT” and don’t complain becuz the world keeps going baby!!!!!!

I agree with your analysis, in many cases. But there also are people who were NOT living beyond their means, who have lost their jobs in this recession and can’t make the payments. I know people with good job skills who have tried very hard, but unsuccessfully, to get a decent job. So yes, I do feel sorry for them.
They helped the economy by spending money at businesses. It would be worse if everybody received low wages and didn’t buy anything. The economy would stay in bad shape.
