We need to close on the loan by Feb. 1st. We are selling our house and paying off our debt with the proceeds from our sale. Will this raise our score? Would it be better to pay off credit cards (we have two with $1400 balance each. Or pay off two bank loans (one for a car and one for a consolidation loan)?

My husband and I are moving to the Tampa FL area. We currently have our house for sale in Pittsburgh, PA. We have been talking about me taking our 5 and 1 year old sons and moving in with my mother. She lives in Holiday (Tampa area). My husband thinks the house will sale faster if we clear out every thing but a bed for him and desk. Any thoughts on the house sale or leaving without my husband?
I see people think he is up to no good, but I have complete trust in him. He has never given me any reason not to trust him in our 7 years of marriage. Beside I’m the one moving close to the beaches with all the tan guys walking around. We trust each other completely and take our marriage vows very seriously.
Thanks for the tastefully lived in comment. My house is not tastefully lived in right now. Every time someone wants to see the house I spend hours cleaning. Not only do I have my children to clean up after, but I babysit too.

I am trying to sale my house and I dont know to sale it fast we are saling it for 50000 less than it is worth

OK… so my husband and I have two houses. I owned a condo before we got married and then he got the loan for the house we live in now.
We haven’t lived in the condo for 2 years now. The first year it sat vacant while we worked on clearing out our stuff. The second year we spent a few months cleaning and painting. Then we listed it for a few months but the market (Missouri) is slow. Now we’re renting it to a friend of my husband’s. My question is… I’m anxious to sell this thing and get rid of it. I was searching options on the Internet and came across sales pitches that claim to “sell your house fast!!” Has anyone heard anything bad about these companies? Has anyone used them?

sell contract to other investors, I just started out as a BIRD-DOG found a mentor & company that will help me, did some due dillegence even pointed out some abandon buildings and a street full of house that maybe potential sales.I could not get in touch with my mentor for a week and a couple of days. I have to find more partners and mentors. I have to start all over again. where can I FIND SCAM FREE PROGRAMS or Real mentors whom will walk me threw deals. I thought Real Estate is a relationship business not burn your bridges business. I am looking to leverage myself to eventually partner and do deals on my own.(what is the fastest way to make money in Real Estate?) short-sales are 3 months? I thought about becoming an agent but I was told it my get in the way of doing certain things in Investing? I am honestly looking for a start, advice and building serious partnerships.

Francis D, perhaps you did not read, what I wrote properly? I did free due due dillegence when asked, my time is not for free and took mentor/Investor to the area of the available properties meaning deals!!! in exchange for hands on experience and a small fee. If you look at it, the investor/Mentor would walk away with a way more bigger percentage than me. when you are the learning of course, the teacher walk off with most of the money!

Lost it and were trying sale, but the person even though we have other proof we own the home seems to not trust us and wants us to get it, but we don’t got it, so is there anyway to get it fast, because the city is saying it could take 3-6 weeks and were supposed to be buying our new home in 30 days…

Our house has been in foreclosure for months and there has been nothing we’ve been able to do to stop it. We’ve called the mortgage company time and time again trying our best to work anything out, and all they have told us is that we need to come up with over $15,000 by May 22nd (which is in about a week) to give them in one lump sum. That’s impossible. So when they told us this (about a month ago) we decided to look into selling the house to one of our friends before the sheriff’s sale date, which is June 7th. Is this possible? He’s more than willing to buy our house for it’s complete estimated value and wants to make an offer. If he puts in an offer before June 7th will the house be out of our hands before then and sold to him? We just really need it to be sold before sheriff’s sale. Will this work?

I sold my van to this guy, signed the title and wrote a bill of sell. Now 2 days later i see it a block from my house for sale. Can he sell it so fast? I thought you had to wait till you get the new title? Which is 4 weeks normally.

I know that garage sale is the obvious answer, but I live kinda off the beaten track and don’t get alot of people. And furniture you get nothing for. Anybody try consignment? Our current house is assessed at $655K, and we own $140K on it. (Potential sale profit of $500K) How is the best way to get the maximum amount for an immediate down payment (the house we like will sell FAST!) without having already sold our current house? Hi, I have recently completed the sale of my house to a company called Buyfast Ltd. Mr Gary Latham, the landlord came out to see me initially before I proceeded and assured me that I could rent for as long as necessary from him and I signed a shorthold lease agreement for a term of 6 months initially as he said this was normal and that once he had established that I am a good payer of my rent he would extend my term to a year at a time.
I have received an email today from a surveyors asking to book an appointment with me to value the house. The sale was completed last week and the payout has been issued and therefore I am now renting from Mr Latham. Why would he be needing a survey now AFTER the sale has gone through? The only reason I can think of he is looking to sell it on and i’ve been done up like an idiot? Anyone think of another reason for this or had any dealings with Buy Fast or Gary Latham? Please advise as I cant call until the morning and I am worried sick.

We looked at this great house and offered a few over asking. That was about a month ago. The house was so close to foreclosure that they pulled it from the County Sheriff’s sale. Every day I think that Today’s the day. We’ll hear something but every day no news. Their realtor said that he thought it would go fast. And to some extent he was right because we turned the offer over to him on a Monday and Monday even the Owner had accepted the deal. But now we’re waiting on the bank. Does anyone know the process that the banks go through and how long does it usually take? Should I start looking for another house that isn’t a short sale? Starting to feel like my life is in a holding pattern and I am not allowed to land.

I buried the statue upside facing the street and by the for sale sign about 3 weeks ago, and I haven’t had anyone come to my house yet . has anyone tried this before if so how long did it take to sell your house.
