The house is in a park, not on private land. It’s a big one, 2400 sq.ft. I am current with the payments, but my job is making me move 500 miles away, I won’t be able to make payments on 2 homes. Is it better that they repossess it or foreclose? It’s for sale but the market doesn’t look good, homes have been for sale there for over 4-5 yrs. Renting is out of the question, I can’t afford the insurance they charge for a rental modular, and I don’t want it destroyed by the kind of tennants it would draw.

since then. We are selling the house for what it will cost the pay off the mtg and pay the realtor.. I was thinking of doing A by sale by owner and drop the price almost 5000, which would have been her share of the sale.. Is it right to do that? She is telling me I might still have to give her money..
If I don’t sell this house fast I am going to lose it…

I don’t want answers like lemonade stands, extra chores, garage sales, pet sitting, babysitting, house keeping, paper routes, card making, etc. Those answers are boring. Besides, there arn’t many kids around my neighbourhood. Please help!

A Stop Foreclosure company is likley legitimate and willing to assist me. But they want to negotiate a”modification” and other terms for bringing me current. Do I win by increasing an already unaffordable payment by adding principal and back interest to a loan I am upside down on? (The value of the home is $200,000 below the loan balance),

I am primary signer on a mobile home that my son( he is secondary signer) has lived in for 10 years now. It is about to be repossessed as he and his wife are unable to make the payments and at this time (have my own problems with debt) I can’t either, at least not for several weeks can I maybe get the back payment. May file bankruptcy if I can do so without my husband. The company (GreenTree) wants him out by the 5th of January. Guess my question is, is there anything I or he can do to delay this until I can see if I can file bankruptcy? Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. I am in Texas. I do not live in it but it is on my husband’s property.

I will go back with my hubby to his parents (also partly his house) for christmas. I wonder would that be appropriate for us to make love in his room in his parent’s house? Or does it matter?
What if he’s just my fiancee or if he’s my boyfriend, does that make a difference?
His parents know already that we’ve been living together since we were bf and gf

Say, no payments made from June 2007, how many months of non-payment before the mortgage company takes action. And, what actions are taken? Do they file a notice to the homeowner? Is it Public Notice that everyone can see, and where is it posted?

Does anyone know who are actual lenders? My credit history is good – wife’s not so good – turned down by mortgage company for additonal borrowing (think we asked for too much – now just want to borrow enough to clear debts – no home improvement plans!)

We have arrears of £5,900. This is due to my partner having an accident at work 3 yrs ago. The contractual monthly amount is being met by income support. The amount required each month is £146.72. The amount being paid by income support is £186.88 every 4 weeks. Even though the mortgage company are receiving the monthly amount and some extra to bring down the arrears each month, they are still pursuing repossession of our home. My partner is claiming for his accident which happened 3yrs ago we have provided the mortgage company with a letter from my partners solicitor detailing that his employers have admitted full liability and that we are in the final stages of finalising the claim. He has been out of work 3 yrs and I have pointed out to the mortgage company that loss of earnings alone will guarantee that the arrears will be cleared. This is still not good enough for them. I was just wondering if any people could give me any advice. We are expecting a court date any day now and would like to know if this letter from my partners solicitors will carry any weight in regards to our defence. I also am thinking about using the Norgan case to use as our defence. Is there anything else I can do? Is there anymore information that I would need relating to my partners claim to give the judge that would help him rule in our favour?

I am currently renting a room in a house and the landlord is being a pain! He won’t even fix things in the house like the sink and etc…I want to find what the laws are of what the landlord’s legal duties are regarding such things…I am in LOS ANGELES, btw.
